Services
Schoenfeldt & Associates provides a variety of services to schools
and businesses. These are our consulting and training services, as well
as our Technical Assistance and Plan Review services.
Consulting
- Full Scale MCI Simulation Development- If you are thinking
of conducting a full scale drill, let us help you design and facilitate
this training event. Our staff has years of experience in schools
and emergency services and will make sure your drill is successful
without traumatizing students, staff or the community. We will make
it a true learning event.
- Safe Schools Audit- A consultant will visit each school site
and determine where your schools are most vulnerable. After reviewing
such materials as curriculum, emergency procedures, staffing and
traffic patterns, we will present a detailed analysis of threats to
school safety and recommend remedies.
- School Safety Planning Committee- Safety committees, under
the facilitation of a consultant, will develop a five-year safety
plan to mitigate identified areas.
- Facilitated
Crisis Response Plan Writing- Through a variety of methods, we
will assist you to write site specific crisis response plans that
coordinate within a district plan. At the end of the project, you
will have an up-to-date plan on floppy disk for future revision.
Training
- Crisis Response Programs
- Crisis Response Team Training- A 2-day team training to move
you from where you are to where you need to go to have a comprehensive
crisis response program in place.
- Suicide Intervention Skills Training
- Youth Violence Prevention
- Critical Incident Stress Management In School Systems
- Support Group Facilitation Training
- Administrative Awareness and Inservice- This flexible program
stresses the importance of school safety in a format from 30-minutes
long to an all day program during a retreat or district inservice.
Technical
Assistance
- Curriculum Training or Program Development- Training is provided
in Critical Incident Stress Management for Schools, Suicide Intervention
Skills, Managing Violent and Aggressive Youth, School-based Support
Groups, Children and Grief, Student Assistance Programs, Stress Management
for Educators, Parenting Programs and Student Assistance Program Curriculum.
